Abstract

This paper presents the results of the short-form Basque versions of the MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories. This instrument consists of two levels: the first one is designed for children between 8 and 15 months; the second level covers the range of 16-30 months. To calculate the normative score data from 1394 infants and toddlers were used. This article shows the main findings and normative scores for each scale by age. The results obtained provide reliability and concurrent validity to the instrument.
