Since the scope of participation, what is the role of local management in generaleducation institutions, and cultural heritage in particular? The school has lost the monopolyof education, and now social changes prompted greater flexibility and adaptability. They aretherefore increasingly scenarios and agents related to teaching. Along with this reality, webelieve, however, that the local has been marginalized by more global interests. The mainobjective of this article is to reflect on the need for greater communication between differentsocial and educational agents, emphasizing especially the closer to the citizen institution, thecity hall, to achieve, through the study of local cultural heritage, the design of an effectivesocio-constructive paradigm for community interaction.
