Abstract

I present Illunbe, a place transformed for the final of the Guipuzcoa sung-poetry (bertsolaris) championship. In the initial thesis I examine this cultural event’s emotional and socialising atmosphere and analyse it in a space-time dimension in which the appeal to affectivity and memory in this space, reinvented for a day, is capable of evoking a feeling of identity and belonging in these post-modern times. I will make reference to Marc Augé’s spacial metaphor, in which he offers “non places” as the spacial representatives of the crisis in feelings in order to state that this space becomes a place of articulated feelings in which to interpret metaphors.    In order to do this we will start with the initial desire and continue until the moment of effervescence which consolidates the group, analysing the aesthetic dimension and the ritual dimension of shared space-time.
