Erdarazko relatibo esplikatibo mota bat euskaratzen

Abstract

The relative explaining form does not exist within the Basque language; but in translating this form from the Spanish to the Basque language, when it has a causal meaning, we find two structures: the prefix BAIT- and the particle ETA. To show on a theoretical level that these structures are proper, the writer bases his stament, on the one hand, on what Koldo Mitxelena said about the prefix BAIT-, and, on the other hand, on what Luis Villasante said about the particle ETA. On the data level, the writer bases his explanation on some written and oral examples.
