Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyse the personal relationships of a group of teachers. It is a case study of an Eskola Txikia located in northern Navarre. It is necessary to study relationships in the changing and unstable reality of society; thus, we have examined the expectations of teachers about their profession, how they perceive their relations, how the management of emotions connected with their relations. As an Eskola Txikia, considering it is distinguishable from space or location, we have observed that they develop a project known as the Emotional Education. It has a qualitative basis, we have made use of ethnography, and we have completed a narrative study, highlighting depth interviews and photo-eliciting techniques. As far as results are concerned, the relationship between teachers and the analysis of its pedagogical dimension is important, since not all relationships are healthy. Healthy relationships put the school in long-term care. Emotions affect healthy interactions between teachers.
