Abstract

This article studies how feminism can help to strength the challenges of the social movements that work in favour of the liberation of people and the social change in the Basque Country. It is necessary that the social work, and in special the community social work, takes in to account the agents that already work with the same purpose, the change. In the bibliographical revision, some common needs have been identified and possible answers have been suggested from the viewpoint of the theory of feminism. The article addresses the relations of power that are given in these movements and the relevance of forming networks, emphasizing on how to give a possible answer to this from the feminist idea of intersectionality. For the theoretical reflection of this work, both the bibliographic review of the documentation created by experts in the field, as well as the participatory observation technique, have been carried out.
