Writers’ hierarchy in the Basque literature system: writers’ view and the teaching microsystem

This article sets out to analyze the Basque literature system examining how the centre and peripherals of literature are organized and what their nature is. It goes on to discuss how this hierarchy is reflected in teaching. A delphy questionnaire was conducted on thirty four Basque writers and critics to find out their views on the system and results are presented. Furthermore, interviews and questionnaires were carried out nineteen teachers and more than eight hundred students from twenty one schools in the Southern part of the Basque CountryDownloads
