Abstract
Interactive online assessment may improve students’ autonomous learning, which is of great interest for convergence with the European Higher Education Area. The purpose of this work is to describe an innovative teaching experience on the use of a computer- assisted assessment tool (Hot Potatoes) to design and apply self-assessment exercises, including automatic feedback. The central aim of this paper is to verify whether online self- assessment improves students’ achievement and learning perception. The results show that students who use online self-assessment for their learning process improve their academic achievement.Downloads
