Abstract

The article analyses the evolution of economy in China during the last decades. In the same time, it stands out contradictions economical increasing has, specially the unequal development among different regions.
Textile and clothing sectors are a very interesting instrument to understand the economical evolution in China. The competitiveness of these sectors is not based only on the cheap workforce, also in some other variables, such as technology, clusters
China’s internal market and its increasing exportations provokes both threats and opportunities nor within developed countries nor in the developing ones.
