Abstract

The aim of the present article is to show that the discovery of the Wolfram, usually taken as a genuine scientific achievement, cannot be accounted for by mere description of scientific facts. The idea is that to understand the isolation of the Wolfram a reference to the military spying behind that scientific research must be given. A previous versions of this article was presented in 1983 at the “Primer Congreso Latinoamericano de Historia de las Ciencias” held in La Habana.
