Abstract

In this article the definition of some concepts used in the study of prosocial behavior is given. Next, different types of prosocial behavior are mentioned and the development of it during childhood is explained. Then, the predicting factors of prosocial behavior and the most important results obtained, regarding the relation between these factors and prosocial behavior, are analyzed. Finally, the problems of the methodology used in the study of prosocial behavior are mentioned.
