Abstract

The article starts in search of the theoretical point of view of the relationship between dialects and standard language. After going deeply into the type of levelling between the standard language and the dialects, and his typology, the author examines two cases on the basque language: the case of the speaked language in Dima, in Bizkay, and the case of the speaked language in Goierri, en Gipuzkoa. In these two areas he investigates phonological, morphological and syntactical characteristics, without forgetting the lexical characteristics.
