Abstract

The objectif of this article is to analyse the formation profesional continu of journalists and, more precisely, his place in the general formation of journalists. Up to now, when searchers are interested on this subject, they have prefered the initial formation, that is to say, diplomas obtened in universities and journalism schools. My objectif, is to fill up this empty, studing the formation profesional continu of France and, particulary, Pyrenees Atlantics journalists (north of Basque country and Bearn included). According to my hypotesis, the formation profesional continu has known a mutation with the multiplication and diversification on dispositifs (individual formation hollidays, formation plans, formation conventions, formations for unemployeds) organisms, requests (chiefs of entreprises, syndicates, journalists) and publics.
