Abstract

The eyewitnesses when perceive a complex event accomplish an interpretation based previous knowledge plans on they possess. Herein after, the information stored in memory is held to internal (thoughts) as well as external (interviews) influences. As time goes by the witness receives new information on the event, and this causes the transformation of the original representation. The effects of time interval are complex, because affects in a different way to neutral events and to emotional ones and furthermore it depends evaluation interval. The results of laboratory studies are not uniform, perhaps due to the repetition of evaluation test and to information that subjects receive about the event after having experienced it.
