In this study, the most important research carried out regarding the four factors of creativity (process, product, person and environment) is reviewed. First of all, a brief theoretical background of the research in creativity and the current knowledge of the major theoretical models (neurological, processual, cognitive, based on personality and environment) are considered. Then, in order to understand the whole concept, the four aspects of creativity are defined. Finally, the instruments to measure creativity most used by the researchers are discussed and the weaknesses identified in the assessment of creativity are summarized.Downloads
