Abstract

Among the changes the socialdemocracy have undergone last decades, it must be taken into account the shake that Third Ways implied. Every political tradition have had to make changes around globalization and the adjustments the socialdemocracy had done in its ideal state’s structure has been due to neoliberal discourse’s hegemony. Its main characteristic is that welfare loses priority in favour of economic competition, so traditional socialdemocratic decisive tools can not work. The statements of Third Ways and other progressive theories, are a theoretical answers to this situation.
