Abstract

Firstly the article remembers traditional tasks of ethnologists and ethnology. Its conditional origin became it a tool to describe problems of primitive societies. The autor involves himself within the course of ethnologists who want to take it out of that situation. This view of ethnology thinks it is necessary to take over the traditional classification of the tasks of social sciences. Any item of social sciences has the final objective of analysing the govern of beings and things, with attitude of an investigator. The author illustrates all this with the analysis of the judge of a escaped Basque in the Tribunal of Paris.
