Lan honetan, giza parte-hartzaileekin egindako inhibizio latenteko ataza bat (bideojoko bat) baliozkotuko da. Inhibizio latente (IL) izeneko fenomenoak zera adierazten du, ondoriorik ez duen estimulu baten aurreazalpenak ondoren eragingo duen ikaskuntza asoziatiboaren oztopatzea edota moteltzea. Horren bitartez, modu errepikatuan ondoriorik gabe agertzen diren gertakari edota estimuluei arreta ez jartzen ikasten da. Arreta ez jartzen ikastea edota ILa lagungarria izan daiteke prozesamendu kognitiboentzat, baina ILaren urritasunak onurak ere izan ditzakeela adierazi da. Lan esperimental honekin arreta-gaitasunaren eta ikaskuntza asoziatiboaren inguruko ezagutza sakontzeko baliagarriak izan daitezkeen datuak jasotzeko ataza lortu nahi da. Atazak emaitza positiboak lortu ditu, bai efektuaren presentzia edo gabezia hautematean, bai ILaren tarte diferentzial bat detektatzean, hau da, efektuaren barruan maila desberdinak bereiztean.
