Abstract

The health sector is immersed in a digital transformation. Taking into account this reality, we will analyze the positive and negative aspects of the incorporation of these new technologies in this sector. Among the positive aspects we can highlight the following: the incorporation of robotization allows to improve the recovery time of the patient, artificial intelligence tools free doctors from administrative tasks and Big Data help health professionals to make diagnoses. However, digitalization in this sector also has negative consequences, such as the privacy of personal data, biological, chemical, ergonomic, and especially psychosocial risks. Additionally, artificial intelligence, together with robotics, could be a massive predator of jobs and fear of job loss can generate stress. Thus, the purpose of this work is to analyze the positive and negative consequences of the emerging risks of health professionals and which are the measures to eliminate or reduce them.
