Civilizations fall into decline when they lose social cohesion. That decline has shown similar characteristics in history. Thus, the Greco-Roman globalization and the current globalization show similar signs of decay, but with its own peculiarities. In any case, it is clear that global macro society can not be sustained by a global macro community, and this is the cause of its fall. The Greek polis was also the head of a region, and therefore, as a concept, could be crucial for alternative movements, not to mention it was also the focus of union of a defined ethnic background.Downloads
