Abstract

In this work we have analysed the terminology of nine mathematical texts and four dictionaries published before Standard Basque was adopted; eight texts and three dictionaries were written from 1913 to 1933, and one text and its dictionary were written in 1972.    The texts deal with Arithmetic, Geometry and Systems of Measures.    Terminological analysis is divided into four parts: numbers; measures; verbs and mathematical terms and some elements of mathematical writing.
