Aro Berriko Euskal Herriko itsas eoknomiaren historiaren egoera

Abstract

The article refers on the economical history of Euskal Herria. First of all it tries to define naval economy and then it claims the necessity of this concept. In the same time, the article makes both a critical and a concrete balance of the historiographical situation, contrasting the samenesses and the differences of the North and the South of Euskal Herria, remarking the principal lacks and presenting the major challenges for the future. The main absence some writers have reached to mark during last years is precisely the necessity of a general synthesis.
