Abstract

In the sixties, within the strengthening of West European minority nations, the article analyses, from a comparative view, the developing of nationalism in the three historical territories in Spain, development that took place in the same time, emphasising the main characteristics of the process: newness and radicalisation. In this sense, the article deepens in the causes of radical nationalisms in Galicia, Catalonia and in the Basque Country, characteristics of the new ideological philosophy and steps these processes have given. The article ends relating the process developed in Spain to the evolution West European substates nationalisms have had.
