New communication technologies, and specially, internet, offer a wide range of choices to both written and audio-visual communication channels. Because of that, nowadays most of the media use the telematic net in one way or in other. This article analyses advantages Basque local publications find in using internet, explaining steps taken in the past and showing which the trends of the future could be.
