COVID iraunkorraren sindromea gaixotasun multisistemiko bat da, zeinetan sintoma neuropsikologikoak pazienteen kexa nagusienetakoa diren. Gaixotasun honen profil neuropsikologikoaren inguruko ezagutzak laburtzeko helburuarekin, 19 lan aztertu dira errebisio sistematiko honetan. Lanen %89k pazienteek profil fronto-subkortikala dutela adierazi zuten, arreta, prozesatze-abiadura, funtzio exekutiboa eta oroimen episodikoa kalteturik izanik, sintoma antsiatsu-depresiboekin batera. Defizit neuropsikologikoaren kausen artean garuneko kalte fisiopatologikoa, sintomatologia afektiboa eta nerbio-sistema zentralean eragiten duten sintomak daude besteak beste. Sintomatologia honek egunerokotasunean sortzen dituen zailtasunen ondorioz, hauek murrizteko interbentzioen beharra azpimarratzen da.
