Gaixo onkologikoen artean, ohiko konplikazioak dira anemia eta sukar-neutropenia, batez ere kimioterapia jasotzen dutenen artean. Eragin desiragaitz horiek garaiz diagnostikatu eta tratatzea beharrezkoa da, gaixoen biziraupenean eta bizi-kalitatean eragin negatiboa baitute.
