The identification and diagnosis of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) is complex in bilingual settings mainly because: a) the scarcity of diagnosis material, and b) the overlapping between the grammatical errors produced as a result of poor linguistic abilities and errors conditioned by having DLD. The Basque Country is not an exception and, thus, this study aims at analysing if DLD signs can
be identified in Basque-Spanish bilinguals by means of LITMUS-SR-B. To check the usefulness of that material, a sample of 42 7-10 y.o. participants was gathered: 5 participants with DLD and 37 without DLD. There is a difference in the scores obtained by participants with DLD and their age-matched counterparts and, consequently, this suggests that LITMUS-SR-B is a useful tool for the identification of DLD.
