HiTZketan has developed an innovative speech-to-speech (S2S) automatic translation system that enables seamless communication between Basque and Spanish. The system allows users to speak naturally in either language while instantly translating their speech into the other. To enhance the experience and ensure more natural communication, it not only provides a text translation but also converts it into audio, using a customized voice that replicates the speaker’s intonation and vocal characteristics.
