Abstract

This research focuses on the General Feminist Strike called on November 30, 2023. Specifically, it examines the demands outlined in the dossier prepared in 2022 to organize the strike. At that time, the feminist movement put forward three main demands: the collectivization of care work, the dignification and professionalization of care work, and, finally, the creation of an emancipatory care model. These three demands shape specific imaginaries of care, sometimes broader and sometimes more restrictive. Through this research, we aim to identify the potentials and limitations of each imaginary, as they may either facilitate or hinder the materialization of these demands.
