On one hand, we have feminist perspectives that highlight the presence of women in the artist’s life and their experiences of violence, which challenge the historiography that downplays them´; and on the other hand, there are theories that label de “Black Arts” as having a significant impact on Picasso’s artistic trajectory –and consequently, on European Modernity – approaching from decolonial perspective.
