Gazte euskaldunen hizkuntza praktikak eta ideologiak bariazioan Gasteizko campusean: hizkuntza sozializazioaren eraginaren azterketa

Abstract

In this paper I present the results of a study on the language socialization of Basque-speaking students on the Araba/Álava campus. Students from different sociolinguistic profiles have been selected in order to determine whether language socialisation between them has resulted in changes in two aspects closely related to the use of Basque: language practices and language ideologies. Positive changes in those two aspects that reinforce the use of Basque have been noted, but some hindering attitudes have also been identified.
