Abstract

We are currently experiencing a major demographic change, the population is getting older and older. This social transformation highlights the ageism of the population with respect to the elderly. The study of ageism has been carried out in different areas, both among university students and health professionals. The studies carried out in these two fields show that university students, including health science students, and also health professionals may have ageism, and this may be related to different factors.
