Abstract

Technological growth is transforming various sectors, including the healthcare sector. The arrival of new technologies such as virtual reality is innovating hospital work processes. Despite being a recent addition to this field, literature is already showing the potential of this technology to immerse users in a completely digital environment. However, for this technology to be consolidated as an effective tool for healthcare staff, it is essential to establish an implementation plan that integrates the multidisciplinary collaboration of various actors and a clearly defined workflow.
