Abstract

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges we face as a society, and it is influencing migration patterns. We have conducted a systematic literature review following the PRISMA methodology to examine the relationship between climate change, migration, and urban areas. On the one hand, we aimed to identify which countries are being studied to compare with real-world trends and to see if there are underrepresented areas in the academic literature. On the other hand, we wanted to gather and synthesize all relevant information related to these migrations to better understand their dynamics.
