The pegmatite mineralizations with rare elements required by new technologies are abundant in the geological region of the Iberian Massif, which extends across the Iberian Peninsula. In the province of Cáceres, a part of the Iberian Massif can be found, and within it, in the surroundings of the borough of Belvís de Monroy, the granite-pegmatite system with the same name is located. The peculiarities of the granite and the evidence to be mineralized have sparked interest in understanding the system. This study aims to characterize the pegmatites, analyze the behavior of rare elements, and develop exploration techniques. To achieve this, the research proposes fieldwork, geological mapping, petrographic studies, and chemical analysis. The results obtained so far have revealed the complexity of the system.
