Abstract

this paper studies a distinctive typological property that the Basque language shares with other languages: multiple wh-questions, questions that have more than one interrogative pronoun. These are the aims of the article: to do a synthesis about what different authors have said regarding multiple wh-questions; to explain different accounts that experts have on multiple wh-questions; finally, analyze the survey I conducted to know whether people agreed or disagreed with the experts’ opinion,and the results obtained.
