Abstract

In the last decade, high entropy alloys have attracted much attention due to their excellent properties. The knowledge of thermooptic properties is essential for the development of new material, even though there has been no meassurement of this kind yet. In this work, Cantor alloy’s microstructural analysis and directional spectral emissivity meassurements on the infrared range have been performed. By this the lack of relationship between crystalographic texture and and emissivity values has been observed.
