Abstract

The exposome is the collection of all exposures we suffer throughout our lifespan. Precisely, the exposure to chemicals can be highlighted. Chemicals are present everywhere in our daily lives, and due to their constant use, they can be introduced to our bodies. Within our bodies, chemicals are metabolized and excreted through urine. Consequently, urine is a very interesting biological fluid for understanding the exposome. In this work, analytical methods for analyzing two chemical families (endocrine disruptors and persistent and mobile compounds) are described by means of liquid chromatographymass spectrometry.
