Abstract

The cannabinoids that are found in the plant species Cannabis have a well-known potential in the field of medicine. Although Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) are the most notorious and used cannabinoids, a growing demand on edible products that maintain the minor cannabinoids present in the plant has emerged recently. In order to study the use of polymeric matrixes employed to provide an efficient oral administration of cannabinoids, two full-spectrum capsules have been synthetized and compared in the present work. Since the created capsules have different properties and application fields, they have brought us the opportunity to present the versatility of therapeutic cannabis with a practical approach.
