Abstract

This work reports the procedure followed to characterize the relative permitivity of composite polymers reinforced with glass fiber. Once the composites were manufactured by infusion, T resonators, which allow dielectric characterization at radio-frequencies, have been screen-printed using a silver conductive ink. The response of these  resonators to radiofrequency waves has been analyzed and the relative permitivity has been estimated to be  between 4.50-4.81 for 400 MHz-1GHz frequencies. This way, these composites may be valid for wireless applications such as embedded sensors.
