Abstract

To go further into the question of language and healthcare, we must first place healthcare work in context by properly assessing the current paradigms on which it rests. Guaranteeing healthcare in Basque involves a profound change and an appropriate, solid and effective implementation process. The normalisation of care, and therefore the normalisation of the use of Basque in the health system as a way of achieving this, is no small challenge.
